Options for Forensic Handwriting Analysis

When you contact us, we will schedule an appointment to discuss your case. After an initial screening of the material to be examined, you can choose between two investigation options.

1. Quick scan

We will provide you with a brief report containing a directional answer based on an initial screening of the material you have provided to us. This may lead to the possibility of offering a comprehensive investigation thereafter.

2. Handwriting Comparison Analysis

The investigation aims to assess the probative value and report it accordingly. Our report is prepared according to the established forensic-specific standards of NRGD and ENFSI (Best Practice Manual for Forensic Handwriting Examination) so that you can use the report as evidence in civil or criminal proceedings.

Report

The forensic handwriting analysis report contains the following sections:

  • Description of the received materials, including information about the date and method of submission, whether originals or copies were received. Any other conditions of the materials that may be relevant to the investigation are also noted (for example, undisclosed damage to the documents or the use of chemicals for fingerprint examination on the document);
  • Specification of the disputed and reference materials;
  • Any relevant background information that may affect the interpretation of the investigation results.
  • Questions posed by the contracting party and, if necessary, all discussions held between the contracting party and the investigator;
  • The hypotheses applied by the handwriting examiner;
  • The research method(s) used;
  • Evaluation of the disputed material;
  • Evaluation of the reference material;
  • Research findings;
  • Interpretation of research results;
  • Conclusions (with the scale used and its explanation).
